1966 Came under the strong influence of K.C.S. Paniker, joined his charmed circle of committed artists striving to establish a commune outside the city for creative people to live and work in peace.

1972 Cholamandal Artists’ Village exhibition sponsored by the UNICEF, New Delhi; ‘Contemporary miniatures’, Progressive Painters’ Association in Chennai and Mumbai.
