1951 First class in Diploma in Fine Arts, Government School of Arts and Crafts, Chennai.

1966 Came under the strong influence of K.C.S. Paniker, joined his charmed circle of committed artists striving to establish a commune outside the city for creative people to live and work in peace.

1971 All India exhibition of Art, Academy of Fine Art, Kolkata.

1972 Cholamandal Artists’ Village exhibition sponsored by the UNICEF, New Delhi; ‘Contemporary miniatures’, Progressive Painters’ Association in Chennai and Mumbai.

1973 Cholamandal Artists’ Village exhibition organized by Max Muller Bhavan, Pune.

1976 State Art exhibition, Tamil Nadu State Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai;Tamil Nadu State Lalit Kala Academy Award, Chennai; AIFACS Award, New Delhi.

1978 Flood Relief exhibition, Tamil Nadu State Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai;’40 artists of Madras’ organized by The British Council, Chennai.

1987 Participated in Victoria Technical Institute’s Gandhi exhibition.
